Over the past 26 years, Shelley has been at the forefront of innovation in the beauty business. She develops the Shelley Skin Care brand as well as tests other beauty products with a focus on solving skin problems. She provides reviews and information on cruelty-free, vegan and vegetarian beauty brands, medical procedures and natural alternatives designed to keep skin clear, healthy and ageless.
From her earliest days as an Esthetician, she has made it her mission to share her knowledge and expertise with up-and-coming Estheticians and business owners.
After a thriving career as a licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician in the highly competitive DC Metro area, Shelley built an impressive clientele at salons in the Georgetown neighborhood. Clients included politicians, actresses, and CNN on-air journalists. While in DC she began to expand by participating in product design and development for a cosmetics line for Universal Esthetics, Inc.
After relocating to San Francisco, Shelley opened BellaPelle Skin Studio in San Francisco’s Union Square in 2002 which received recognition by several fashion magazines. She developed her first line of skin care products which resulted in immediate improvement and helped maintain long-lasting healthy skin. She established a diverse and loyal following of customers drawn to her understanding of the relationship between skin, health, and beauty.
Currently, Shelleyskincare.com carries her most recent product line, as well as, various beauty brands that meet her strict criteria of natural, healthy and effective skin care.
Because of her professionalism and reputation within the beauty industry, she has been asked to teach classes, offer advice and share her knowledge. Hence, 415 Spa Consulting was born.
Shelley developed the CARES program under 415 Spa Consulting — Consult. Analyze. Resolve. Execute. Succeed. This program has proven extremely beneficial to her clients, whether they are a spa owner or an individual.
